London (dpa) - The German U23 road cycling champion Kim Heiduk is moving to the British top racing team Ineos-Grenadiers. This was announced by the WorldTour team led by former Tour de France winners Geraint Thomas and Egan Bernal.
The 21-year-old Heiduk is regarded as a promising sprint talent and most recently rode for the lower-class team Lotto-Kern Haus. The contact with Ineos was established via long-time professional cyclist Christian Knees, who is now responsible for talent development at Ineos.
