The Tudor Pro Cycling Team is gearing up for its fourth season in professional cycling with well-known reinforcements. As the Swiss team officially announced, multiple Swiss champion and European time trial champion Stefan Küng (so far Groupama - FDJ), the versatile Italian Luca Mozzato (so far Arkéa - B&B Hotels) and the young Swiss talent Robin Donzé (so far Tudor Pro Cycling Team U23) will start for the team. With these signings, Tudor Pro Cycling aims to significantly strengthen its presence in time trials, classics and one-day races while at the same time sticking to its philosophy of talent development. The signing of Stefan Küng in particular is seen as a coup for the team, which is managed by former classics specialist Fabian Cancellara. The 31-year-old Küng is one of the best time trialists in the world and has extensive WorldTour experience. "As a Swiss rider, I followed the Tudor project closely and was really impressed by the mentality and development," explained Küng, who has signed a three-year contract. "Innovation and research are clearly at the centre of the team and I believe this environment can take me to the next level, especially on the time trial bike."

Stefan Küng aims for success in the classics

Stefan Küng has set himself clear goals for his time at Tudor Pro Cycling. The Swiss time trial specialist wants to achieve top placings in the European and World Championships in the battle against the clock. He is also aiming for a long-awaited breakthrough in the monuments of cycling. "A major classic is still missing from my track record, and that's something I really want to achieve," emphasised Küng. With his experience and skills as a time trialist and classics specialist, the 31-year-old has exactly the qualities that Tudor Pro Cycling needs for his further development. Küng is regarded as one of the most consistent riders in the peloton and has already proven several times in the past that he is one of the favourites in the big spring classics such as the Tour of Flanders or Paris-Roubaix. His experience and tactical skills should help the up-and-coming team to play an even bigger role in the most important one-day races in the coming years.

Luca Mozzato brings speed and versatility

In Luca Mozzato, Tudor Pro Cycling has gained a versatile rider who can particularly show his strengths in demanding finishes. The 27-year-old Italian has established himself as a reliable performer in one-day races in recent years and is known for his aggressive riding style. "I like how the team has developed, not only structurally but also in the way they race," said Mozzato, who has also signed until the end of 2028. "This feels like the biggest opportunity of my career to become the best driver I can be. I want to win, but I also want to be an important part of the team's success." With his powerful sprint and tactical nous, Mozzato is expected to play a key role in the classics campaign and stage arrivals.

Robin Donzé as an example of successful work with young talent

The trio of new signings is completed by Robin Donzé, a 21-year-old Swiss climber who is moving up from Tudor's own junior team. The young climber, who is currently competing in the Tour de l'Avenir with the Swiss national team, has already gained his first experience in professional cycling, including a solid performance at the Tour of the Alps earlier this year. "Being part of the development team was a great experience," Donzé reflected. "But moving up to the pros is a childhood dream. I've learnt a lot, raced the best U23 races and now I'm ready for the next challenge and looking forward to the next two years." Donzé aims to become a reliable team-mate in hilly and mountain stages, with the long-term goal of earning a place in a Grand Tour. His signing underlines the team's philosophy of promoting its own talents and paving the way for them to become professional cyclists.

Tudor Pro Cycling focusses on strategic team development

Fabian Cancellara, the founder and driving force behind the Tudor Pro Cycling Team, was delighted with the additions for the coming season. "We are delighted to strengthen our squad with additional power and depth and are proud to welcome another rider from our development team to the pro ranks," said Cancellara. "It's a testament to the excellent work our development team continues to do in scouting, coaching and nurturing young talent. Robin has been part of our programme since 2022 and we are confident that he will be a valuable support for our climbers from next season." With the three new signings, Tudor Pro Cycling is further sharpening its profile and consistently pursuing its path of building a strong team that also promotes talent.
