The Tour de Suisse Women 2025 ends with a challenging final stage around Küssnacht. The 129.4-kilometre circuit with 1939 metres of climbing offers the riders one last chance on Sunday to cause an upset in the overall classification. In particular, the double crossing of the Michaelskreuz promises excitement in the battle for stage and overall victory.

St Michael's Cross as a decisive ascent

The 4th stage of the Tour de Suisse Women 2025 is described by the organisers as the "secret royal stage". The circuit with start and finish in Küssnacht leads the riders twice over the Michaelskreuz, an extremely steep climb that only gives the best female climbers a chance of winning the stage and possibly also the yellow jersey.

The ascent to the Michaelkreuz itself is 3.8 kilometres long with an average gradient of 9.1 per cent. On the first kilometre of the climb, there are ramps with a gradient of over 11 per cent.

Between the two crossings of the Michaelskreuz, the route leads the riders onto a scenic section. This part of the route could offer breakaway riders the opportunity to spring a surprise.
