Eight stages across Switzerland: the Tour de Suisse in June is traditionally one of the last tests of form for many riders ahead of the Tour de France in July. In 2023, the men's Tour of Switzerland will take place from 11 to 18 June. The women will also race from 17 to 20 June.
In Germany, the men's Tour de Suisse 2023 cannot be seen live on television. There are only live streams. Not so in Switzerland. SRF 2 is the German-language broadcaster there. Claude Jaggi, Marco Felder and Sven Montgomery commentate on SRF 2. One of the three is always close to the riders as a motorbike reporter. Former cyclist Fabian Cancellara is scheduled to do this on two days. SRF will also be broadcasting the Veloclub with Olivier Borer, who will talk about the stages. In addition to SRF 2, the race will also be broadcast on RTS 2 in French-speaking Switzerland and RSI LA1/2 in Italian-speaking Switzerland.
In Switzerland, SRF, RTS Sport and RSI Sport also offer a live stream of the stages. In Germany, cycling fans can watch the Tour of Switzerland digitally on Discovery+ and GCN+ (via paid subscription) without commercial breaks.
This year, the third edition of the Tour de Suisse Women will take place from 17 to 20 June. Unlike the men's race, the women's race can also be seen live on television in Germany - at least in part. Eurosport will broadcast the first two stages on Eurosport 1 and the rest digitally on Discovery+ and GCN+ as a live stream. In Switzerland, the race, which is part of the UCI Women's World Tour for the first time, will be shown on SRF 2, RTS 2 and RSI LA2 on TV and with corresponding digital offerings, just like the men's race.
