Die siebte Etappe der Tour de France 2022 führt über 176,3 Kilometer von Tomblaine nach La Planche des Belles Filles.
The favourites will have to show their form at the first mountain finish of the 109th Tour de France.
After the start in Tomblaine near Nancy, the race heads south on Friday, where the finish on the La Super Planche des Belles Filles ski slope in the Vosges mountains lies after 176.3 kilometres. The seven-kilometre climb presents the greatest difficulties at the end, when gradients of 20 and 24 per cent have to be mastered. The mountain is actually a ski slope that has been partially tarmaced for the Tour de France. Nevertheless, there is a gravel section shortly before the finish. The sporting directors are expecting a group to make it through.
