Die Tour de France wird auf verschiedenen Sendern im TV kostenlos zu sehen sein.

Cycling fans have a free choice when it comes to the Tour de France and can once again watch the race free of charge on various TV channels this year. The free TV channels ARD, One and Eurosport offer an extensive programme on several channels.

ARD has signed a new contract with cycling organiser Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) via sports rights agency SportA. According to the broadcaster, ARD will show daily live coverage of the world's biggest cycling race from 1 to 24 July, usually from 4.05 pm to 5.25 pm.

ARD's special interest channel One will broadcast from half an hour after the start until the start of the broadcasts on the first channel. Further live broadcasts will be available online at "sportschau.de" and on the TV channel Eurosport. The sports broadcaster, which can also be received free of charge, has a Tour contract with the ASO that runs until 2025.

Commentator for the main ARD programme is Florian Naß. Co-commentator is Fabian Wegmann. Florian Kurz will be behind the microphone for the internet live stream and One, with Paul Voß and Johannes Fröhlinger as co-commentators.

Eurosport will also offer extensive live coverage at the same time. Karsten Migels will be the commentator for the specialised channel. Jens Voigt and Robert Bengsch have once again been engaged as experts, Bernie Eisel will be on site as a reporter. New to the Eurosport programme is the "Velo Club", a half-hour analysis show directly after each stage.
