From the previous day's finish, the route continues directly southwards to a suburb of Toulouse. Four 4th category mountain classifications are spread over the middle section of the stage. The last one is 40 kilometres before the finish. There are no further difficulties on the programme, even the finishing straight is slightly downhill.

Sporting assessment of the 6th stage of the Tour de France Femmes

The women's Tour de France 2023 will not be any flatter than the sixth stage. Accordingly, there will be no way around a bunch sprint. The sprinter teams around SD Worx, dsm-firmenich and Jumbo-Visma are too strong for any breakaway group to prevent this.
