In his speciality, the Cologne-based sprinter is once again showing his class. Having won two European Championship titles, he has now triumphed at the World Championships.
Tim Torn Teutenberg has won the gold medal in the elimination race at the Track Cycling World Championships in Shanghai. The Cologne-based rider finished ahead of Denmark’s Tobias Hansen and Belgium’s Jules Hesters. This is the 24-year-old’s second medal, having already won bronze in the omnium on Saturday.
However, his speciality is the elimination race. Teutenberg had already won the European Championship title in this discipline in 2023 and 2025. He also won a silver medal at this year’s European Championships. This was already the seventh medal for the German team at the championships in China.
