The Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale jersey is intended to symbolise the start of a new and successful era. The jersey of the team led by Austrian Felix Gall is characterised by a darker blue and mint green. The kit was unveiled as part of the presentation of Decathlon's new brand identity on Tuesday.

The right sleeve and the neck area are designed in green, the left part of the jersey in a darker blue, which forms a kind of galaxy in the colour context. Cosmic movements are to be symbolised on the jersey and the fusion of the two brands in Team Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale is to be represented. While the sporting goods manufacturer is new to the team, the insurance group AG2R has been supporting manager Vincent Lavenu's team for 26 years.

Last jersey launch not until November 2023

The team's new "Galaxy" jerseys are designed to stand out in the peloton. They certainly stand out from the original jerseys. These were only introduced in November 2023, only had a few races and are now back in the wardrobe. The riders were successful in them.

Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale 2024 has won four victories on the new racing bikes from Van Rysel retracted - including Ben O'Connor's success at the UAE Tour mountain finish on Jebel Jais. The 2021 Tour de France fourth-placed rider was also on the verge of winning the overall classification in the Emirates and was only two seconds behind Lennert van Eetvelt (Lotto-Dstny) in the final standings.
