Three-time road cycling world champion Peter Sagan has tested positive for corona for the third time in the last 18 months and therefore had to pull out of the Tour de Suisse before the final stage.

"I have no symptoms and feel fine, but I have to finish the race," the Slovakian wrote on Twitter. After his withdrawal from the Tour de Suisse for the cycling star with a view to the new season starting on 1 July. Tour de France short.
Before Sagan, who won the third stage of the Tour of Switzerland, more than 40 riders had already had to finish the race due to the corona pandemic.
