Successful dress rehearsal: Team Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe has won the team time trial on Mallorca. For the formation with Florian Lipowitz and Remco Evenepoel, it was a successful dress rehearsal for the competition that is also on the programme for the upcoming Tour de France

Four seconds made the difference after 23.8 kilometres. With this lead, Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe won the Trofeo Ses Salines, a team time trial as part of the Challenge Mallorca race series. The seven-man formation needed 23:55 minutes for the largely flat course between Ses Salines and Colonia Sant Jordi and won four seconds ahead of Team Movistar and 17 seconds ahead of Jayco-AlUla. The victorious ride with an average speed of 59.707 km/h was a successful dress rehearsal for the first stage of the upcoming Tour de France. On 4 July, a 19-kilometre team time trial in Barcelona is on the agenda for the season highlight. The Red Bull squad was led by Tour bronze medallist Florian Lipowitz and time trial world champion Remco Evenepoel. It was the first race for both of them this season. Evenepoel, the Belgian Tour bronze medallist in 2024, only joined the team at the turn of the year. The line-up was completed by Nico Denz from Waldshut, the Belgian Maxim van Gils and the three Italians Matteo Cattaneo, Gianni Moscon and Lorenzo Finn.

Rembe-rad-net was the second German team at the start. The team with a licence as a Continental team finished 17th out of 21 participants, 2:06 minutes behind.
