The UCI Road Cycling World Championships will return to Canada in 2026. The event's organising committee has announced Premier Tech as the new main partner for the cycling highlight, which will take place in Montréal from 20 to 27 September 2026. During the eight-day event, the best road cyclists in the world will compete in a total of 13 different competitions. More than 1000 athletes from over 80 countries are expected to compete for the coveted rainbow jerseys in front of hundreds of thousands of spectators on site and around 200 million television viewers worldwide. The World Championships in Montréal represent the biggest sporting event in the Canadian metropolis since the 1976 Olympic Games and mark the return of a major sporting cycling event to Canada.
