In TOUR 10/2014, we printed a portrait of 22-year-old Ferrand-Prévot under the headline "The new face". The article about the new star of international women's cycling appeared at just the right time: the Frenchwoman sprinted across the finish line as the winner of the road race in Ponferada, Spain. You can read the portrait of the rider from Champagne in the current issue, which you can read as a Magazine or as digital edition conveniently.
The most important information about the person:
Ferrand-Prevot has been dedicated to cycling since her early childhood. Success came quickly, she passed through the French junior squads and won various mountain bike and road bike titles as a youngster. She made her mark in her very first junior year: European champion in the time trial, French champion in the road race and against the clock, World Championship silver medallist in the road race and time trial. She has been racing in the World Cup since 2011, when Marianne Vos immediately took notice of the Frenchwoman and lured her to her Dutch team.
