The TV channels ARD and ZDF will be broadcasting live and alternately from Paris, while Eurosport will also be covering all the decisions. The two time trials on 27 July and the women's road race on 4 August will be broadcast by ARD, the men's road race on 3 August by ZDF; both broadcasters also offer live streams of the respective competitions that they broadcast on TV. The Discovery Plus streaming service also offers live streams, but is subject to a charge:
This also gives users access to live streams from Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 and other Warner Bros. Discovery channels, as well as all other content from the streaming service provider.
The road cycling competitions take place in and around Paris. The women's and men's individual time trials take place on the same course - for the first time in history. This is 32.4 kilometres long, without any major topographical obstacles and leads past numerous Parisian sights.
In the road races, the women ride 158 kilometres, while the men cover a longer distance: 273 kilometres. The 2800 metres of elevation gain for the men and 1700 for the women make the routes challenging.
