After their success with the team in the individual competition, the German women's track cycling team secured the second success for the German Cycling Federation at the Nations Cup in Glasgow.
In a German final, Mieke Kröger (3:25.354 minutes) from Bielefeld beat Franziska Brauße (3:25.471) from Eningen by a wafer-thin margin in the 3000 metre pursuit.
Kröger won bronze in this discipline at the 2021 World Championships, Brauße silver. Both riders are also part of the four-woman team that won gold at the 2021 Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships.
