Copenhagen (dpa) - The team presentation of the next Tour de France will take place in the famous Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen. This was announced by the organisers.
The presentation will take place on 29 June 2022 and 10,000 tickets are to be distributed among cycling fans in the spring. A large celebration for the Grand Départ was cancelled for the 2020 Tour; this year, 5,000 fans were allowed to attend in Brest.
The 109th Tour de France begins on 1 July 2022 in Copenhagen with a 13-kilometre individual time trial, with stages two and three leading through Denmark. The entire route of the tour will be announced in Paris on Wednesday.
