The Euroeyes Cylassics in Hamburg, Germany's biggest road cycling event alongside Eschborn-Frankfurt on 1 May, are back after Previous postponement of the date from 16 August to 3 October has now been finally cancelled for this year. The cancellation affects both the UCI pro race and all planned amateur events on race day.
"In agreement with the City of Hamburg and for reasons related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we regret to announce that the EuroEyes Cyclassics Hamburg will not take place in 2020 and will be held again on 22 August 2021," the race organiser announced on Tuesday. The Cyclassics will then celebrate its 25th anniversary next year.
