Für Lennard Kämna ist eine Teilnahme an der Tour de France nicht unwahrscheinlich.

After winning a stage at the Giro d'Italia, German tour hopeful Lennard Kämna has a good chance of taking part in the Tour de France, which starts on 1 July.

"Lennard is on the longlist. The training is going well. He can already raise his hopes," said Bora-hansgrohe team boss Ralph Denk to the German Press Agency. Kämna won the mountain finish on Mount Etna at the Giro in May after a strong performance.

Kämna is regarded as highly talented and a future candidate for a top place in a grand tour. The 25-year-old already won a stage at the Tour de France two years ago. Last year, the former junior world champion took time out due to mental problems and only returned after almost nine months in February.

Giro seventh-placed Emanuel Buchmann, on the other hand, will definitely not start in France. "Emu will probably ride the Vuelta or other races in the autumn, but he is not on the longlist," said Denk.
