For the first time, video cameras will be bolted to the riders' bikes throughout the entire Giro d'Italia. Internet users will then receive a summary of the best footage from each stage.

The Velon team association offers a summary of each Giro stage from the rider's perspective. For this purpose, "on-board cameras" are given to the riders of a team on a daily basis. These provide videos from the rider's perspective - either facing forwards or attached to the saddle facing backwards.
