The German Cycling Federation has announced its line-up for the cyclo-cross world championships in Hulst, Netherlands. The German champions will be missing from the title fights from 30 January to 1 February. Marcel Meisen, who ended his international career after the 2024/25 season, will only compete nationally. Judith Krahl has to complete important exams for her studies. The German national team will be led by mountain biker Fabian Eder from Töging, who recently finished second behind Meisen at the German Championships in Bensheim.
There will be no German starter in the women's elite race. The junior classes, on the other hand, are well-staffed: In the men's U23 class, the German U23 title winner Eike Behrens from Hamburg, the third of the DM elite race Hannes Degenkolb (Lauter-Bernsbach), Silas Kuschla (Hanover) and Max Heiner Oertzen (Hamburg) are to start. The nominees in the U19 class are: juniors Alwin Beyer (Neuhausen)
Niclas Look (Haag) and Jan Prell (Halle/Saale) as well as juniors Beatrix Attelmann (Munich) and Amandine Jakob (Eisenach)
