Jan Ullrich is auctioning off a special bike to help the victims of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Germany's only Tour de France winner announced on an Instagram post that he was donating a special edition of the 1998 Tour of France in aid of "Ein Herz für Kinder". "The terrible war in Ukraine and the unbelievable suffering of the people and families on the ground has shocked the whole world. Everyone is shocked and my heart is bleeding too," said Ullrich.
The auction will run until 6 April. On Friday afternoon, the highest bid was 18,100 euros.
