Sagan has signed a two-year contract with the team and is bringing his two helpers Maciej Bodnar and Daniel Oss with him. "This new adventure is very exciting. I hope to be able to help this team and win many races in the new colours," said Sagan, who has won the green jersey at the Tour de France seven times in his career.
Sagan will finish the current racing year for Bora-hansgrohe. The German racing team and Sagan were unable to agree on a further collaboration. "At the moment, of course, I'm still focussing on the season's goals with my current team," Sagan clarified. The sprint-strong all-rounder could be scheduled with TotalEnergies primarily for the classics and the most important cycling race in the world, the Tour de France.
