Remco Evenepoel knows how to celebrate his Olympic victory. The winner of the road race and the individual time trial in Paris has recently taken to the road with a golden racing bike and matching outfit.

After his double Olympic victory, Remco Evenepoel is even more recognisable in the peloton. The Belgian superstar's Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 has been given a golden paint job in honour of his triumph in Paris. His team Soudal - Quick Step recently posted a photo on Instagram.

His Belgian racing team and outfitter Castelli have also come up with something special when it comes to clothing. Evenepoel's shorts and jersey have been given a gold stripe, as have the socks of the 2024 Tour de France bronze medallist. The rainbow stripes on the sleeves of Evenepoel's jersey also continue to symbolise his World Championship title, which he won in Wollongong, Australia, in 2022.

The Belgian's name can be read on the back of his jersey, underlined in gold. The Specialized S-Works Evade 3 helmet by Evenepoel was also customised in gold, as were his Oakley Sutro Lite Sweep glasses.

Celebrating his successes with the special outfit makes him "very proud", Evenepoel is quoted as saying on the homepage of his team Soudal - Quick Step. The 24-year-old was seen racing for the first time at the Tour of Britain. There he is preparing for his next highlight of the season: the World Cycling Championships in Zurich End of September.
