Next weekend, 8 and 9 November 2014, the European Cross-Country Championships for women, juniors, women U23, men U23 and masters will be held in Lorsch, Hesse.

The schedule for the GGEW City Cross Cup in Lorsch promises a varied programme: in addition to the European cross title fights, there are two races for hobby and amateur cyclists as well as two men's races in the C1 and C2 categories. The start list for the C1 race includes well-known cyclists such as German champion Philipp Walsleben, Marcel Meisen and Swiss rider Simon Zahner.

Hessischer Rundfunk (hr) will be on site on Saturday and broadcast the sports programme "Heimspiel am Samstag" (17:30 to 17:58) from Lorsch. Lisa Heckmann, who comes from Michelstadt and plays for VC Darmstadt, will be at the centre of the TV report.

9.30 am: Hobby and everyone, 30 minutes
10:15 am: Juniors, 40 minutes
11:15 am: juniors and women U23, 40 minutes
13:00: U23, 50 minutes
14:10: Women, 40 minutes
15:15: Men Elite C1, 60 minutes

Sunday 9 November

8.45 am: Hobby and everyone, 30 minutes
9:20 am: Masters from age group 55, 30 minutes
9:20 a.m.: Seniors from age group 85, 30 minutes
11:10 am: Masters age group 76 - 85, 50 minutes
12:20 pm: Masters age group 56 - 65, 30 minutes
13:10: Masters age group 66 - 75, 40 minutes
15:00: Men Elite C2, 60 minutes
