Fabio Jakobsen moves from Soudal - Quick Step to Team dsm-firmenich.
Dutchman Fabio Jakobsen leaves Soudal - Quick Step at the turn of the year and joins Team dsm-firmenich. The change means that the Dutch team is gaining a world-class sprinter.

Fabio Jakobsen: "It's an honour to be a part of it."

The reigning European road champion leaves Soudal - Quick Step with happy memories and is looking forward to his new challenge at dsm-firmenich: "When I was still in the younger age groups, this team was one of the big and up-and-coming teams at the biggest races like the Tour de France. It was always something to look up to. When you win the pink jersey, the dotted jersey, the green jersey and the world championships in the team time trial, I think this team has a reputation and it's an honour to be a part of it."

By signing the three-year contract, Fabio Jakobsen is hoping for many joint victories. In the past, dsm-firmenich have shown what they are capable of. Jakobsen now hopes to build on this success with the team and achieve further successes.

In sporting terms, everyone knows that Fabio is one of the best sprinters in the world and we are delighted to have him in our team. ~Rudi Kemna, Manager of dsm-firmenich.
