The cycling transfer market continues to pick up speed. Nils Politt is leaving Bora-Hansgrohe and joining UAE Team Emirates for the 2024 season. This was officially announced by the team from the Emirates.

After three years at Bora-Hansgrohe, Nils Politt is switching teams for the 2024 season and will ride for UAE Team Emirates in future. The 29-year-old has signed a contract with the team led by two-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogacar until the end of 2026. This was officially announced by UAE Team Emirates on Thursday.

I'm really looking forward to the next three years," Nils Politt is quoted as saying in the official press release from UAE Team Emirates.

Mauro Gianetti, Team Principal and CEO of UAE Team Emirates, said: "We are delighted to welcome Nils to the team. He has proven to be a very strong rider and will strengthen both our classics team and our stage race team. We hope for many good years together."
