The first sneak peek of the new off-road team from Canyon and DT Swiss was posted on social media a few days ago. On display: A shadow play of gravel bike, MTB and four athletes.

The Canyon ATR team consists of 13 riders of five nationalities. All of them have their strengths off the tarmac. However, the team does not specialise in one particular discipline, but combines everything off the beaten track. The team even has a nickname: Wildcards. According to the team, "Wildcards" reflects both the origin of the riders and their approach to racing: they adapt to the conditions, ride without a fixed script and earn their place through performance rather than expectations.
The team includes US national gravel champion Bradyn Lange, 2024 Unbound Gravel winner Carolin Schiff, gravel pioneer Jasper Ockeloen, 2025 UCI Gravel World Series overall winner Mathijs Loman, Marei Moldenhauer, who achieved a strong eighth place overall in the Atlas Mountain Race in 2025, and 2025 Atlas Mountain Race winner Alex McCormack is also part of the team. The team manager is Vincent Durand, who previously managed the successful BULLS Racing Team in the cross-country and marathon MTB sector.
The bio of the new racing team already lists the following partners who support and equip the team: Canyon, DT Swiss, Shimano, Ryzon, Abus, Schwalbe.
The first race for the team will be the Santa Vall in Girona next weekend. Traka and Unbound are also on the list, as well as the Tour Divide and various mountain races, mountain bike marathons and cyclocross races.
