The team budgets in professional cycling are a far cry from the sums involved in international football. But it's not a lot of money either. For what actually? We have listed the budgets of the teams that took part in the Tour de France 2023.

We also use the Groupama-FDJ team to show the costs incurred in professional cycling. The figures are based on the official balance sheet for the 2021 financial year of the operating company "Société de Gestion de l'Echappée". They were prepared at the end of July 2023. The operating company comprises the men's teams in the World Tour and the junior team Equipe Continentale Groupama-FDJ. The women's team FDJ-Suez has no connection to the operating company.
