Der 29-jährige Bob Jungels hat beim Rennstall Bora-hansgrohe einen mehrjährigen Vertrag unterschrieben.
The German cycling team Bora-Hansgrohe has strengthened its team with Bob Jungels.

Bob Jungels, stage winner at this year's Tour de France, will receive a multi-year contract from 2023, Bora-Hansgrohe announced. "In terms of type, he fits perfectly into our multi-captain strategy. We simply want to add more depth to our squad to make it difficult for our rivals to count us out," said sporting director Rolf Aldag.

The multiple Luxembourg champion in road and individual races comes from the AG2R Citroen team, where Jungels had been under contract since 2021. Jungels won the traditional Liège - Bastogne - Liège race in 2018.

"I can still develop as a rider, I'm sure of that, and I'm prepared to work hard for it. For me, the change feels like the start of something big," said Jungels.
