Erlebte auf der elften Etappe einen Schreckmoment: Jordi Meeus vom Team Bora-Hansgrohe.
Sprinter Jordi Meeus from the German cycling team Bora-Hansgrohe almost crashed on the eleventh stage of the Tour de France because of a fan.

"I collided with a spectator with my right arm and almost went down," said the 25-year-old Belgian about the incident in Moulins. "I just managed to avoid falling," he added.

Fan holds arm over barrier and touches Bora pro Jordi Meeus

Just 400 metres before the finish, a fan held his arm over the barrier. Possibly to film with his smartphone. Meeus, who was riding on the sidelines, lost his balance slightly after the contact, but was able to catch himself again. He finished eleventh in a thrilling sprint. Phil Bauhaus from Bocholt once again had to admit defeat to the strong Jasper Philipsen in third place. The Belgian celebrated his fourth stage win at this year's Tour.

There are always collisions at the most important cycling event in the world. In 2021, there was a serious crash when German rider Tony Martin crashed into a spectator's cardboard sign held on the road. A year later, rider Daniel Oss was forced to retire from the Tour of France due to a broken neck after touching a careless fan with his head.
