With his tenth Tour participation, Simon Geschke is the German veteran of the 109th Tour of France.
Historically, many more riders have made it to the Tour than the 36-year-old. The German record holder is Jens Voigt with 17 participations, while Frenchman Sylvain Chavanel has even taken part more times.
