The Giro d'Italia 2025 starts on Friday, 9 May, in Albania, runs over a total of 21 stages and ends on 1 June in Rome. Cycling fans can watch all stages on TV, and the race for the pink jersey will also be streamed live online.

Where is the Giro d'Italia on TV today?

Unlike the Tour de France, the most famous cycling race in the world, the public broadcasters ARD and ONE do not show the Giro d'Italia. In Germany, the sports channel Eurosport 1 will broadcast all 21 stages of the Giro d'Italia 2025.

How can I receive Eurosport 1?

Eurosport 1 is available free of charge on free-to-air TV in Germany. The channel can be received via satellite, cable, IPTV or in some areas via DVB-T.

TV commentators Giro d'Italia 2025

Cycling commentator Karsten Migels is in action at the Giro d'Italia 2025. During the first week of the race Jens Voigt will provide special impressions directly from the peloton by getting back on the support bike and gathering insights from the centre of the action. New to the team is Simon Geschkewho will replace Voigt on the bike in the second week of the Giro.

Velo Club on Eurosport: Expert talk after the stages

After each stage, the "Velo Club", Eurosport's cycling show, will analyse the day's events once again. The 30-minute Giro show is presented by Holger Speckhahn. Together with commentator Karsten Migels and the experts Robert Bengsch, Bernhard Eisel and Jens Voigt and Jan Ullrich as a guest directly on the start weekend (10 and 11 May), he looks back on the previous stage.
