After the Grande Partenza in Apeldoorn, the rest of the route takes the peloton through the Dolomites and the French Alps. A very special highlight will probably be the mountain time trial to the Alpe di Siusi in the second week of the race, before the tour comes to an end in Turin on 29 May.
