In a press release, BKOOL expresses its delight at the partnership with the Deutschland Tour. The company, which describes itself as "the most realistic simulator on the market", is based in Madrid, Spain. The collaboration is intended to bring the excitement and challenge of the Deutschland Tour directly into your own living room - worldwide.

Digitalisation of the Germany Tour

Thanks to the partnership, the stage race through Germany is being digitised. BKOOL users will soon have the opportunity to ride a virtual replica of every stage of the last edition. Make a note of 5 February, when the route of the Deutschland Tour 2023 will be published on BKOOL. According to BKOOL, you can "immerse yourself in the iconic landscapes and challenging routes that have characterised the Deutschland Tour 2023 from the comfort of your own home". It should be noted that the whole thing doesn't have to be comfortable - apart from the journey. Cycle training with a Smart Trainer in your own pain cave is sweaty, intense and challenging, at least for some training sessions or races.

Thanks to the partnership between BKOOL and the Deutschland Tour, we in Germany have the opportunity to virtually discover the country in which we live. And who knows, maybe we haven't finished planning our holiday yet? Maybe the next cycling holiday will be in the beautiful Sauerland regionwhere in 2023 the Germany Tour will pass through Altastenberg, the highest point of the tour, drove.

Realistic experience

BKOOL's technology offers an authentic and realistic cycling experience. In addition to the landscapes and elevation profiles of the stages, real videos, 3D avatars and 3D advertising elements are integrated. Just as if you were actually on the route.

Germany Tour Virtual Ride

And that's not all, there will also be a virtual ride for the Deutschland Tour. This is a race in which BKOOL users can compete against each other and empathise even better with the pros, as the race is designed to reflect the intensity and excitement of the live event.

Participants can test their skills on the same routes as the professional cyclists. Anyone who has ever ridden a virtual bike race knows that it is a completely different feeling and the motivation is also different when other avatars are on the track. It's close to reality - and at the same time creates a sense of community.

Indoor cycling is on the rise in Germany and we at BKOOL are delighted to be part of this fitness revolution. - Alfonso García-Lozano, Managing Director of BKOOL

According to García-Lozano, the partnership with the Deutschland Tour emphasises how important it is [...] to offer German fans an intense experience that does justice to their love of the sport. Together, they are shaping the future of cycling in Germany by bridging the gap between outdoor and indoor training for an enhanced riding experience.
