Rio Olympic champion Greg van Avermaet is ending his career as a professional cyclist at the end of the season. It is the end of a great adventure and he is a little sad, the 37-year-old Belgian announced.
Van Avermaet also successful at Paris-Roubaix
In addition to the 2016 triumph at the Copacabana, the victory a year later at the Paris-Roubaix are among the most important successes in van Avermaet's career. "I have no regrets.
