The first race of the UCI Women's World Tour 2022 took place at the beginning of March with the Strade Bianche Donne. This was followed by a further 22 competitions until the biggest race series in women's cycling came to an end for this year at the Tour de Romandie Feminin at the beginning of October. Highlights included Annemiek van Vleuten's historic triple of the Giro Donne, Tour de France Femmes and Vuelta as well as the classic one-day races.
Originally, the UCI Women's World Tour 2022 was also supposed to stop at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Race at the beginning of the year and at the Tour of Chongming Island and the Tour of Guangxi in China in October. However, these races had to be cancelled.
