Pauline Ferrand-Prevot has left her mark on road cycling and mountain biking in particular. Her future lies with Team Ineos Grenadiers from 2023. The Frenchwoman's big goal is the mountain bike competitions at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Ferrand-Prevot only recently secured the world title at the UCI Gravel World Championships, having previously won the mountain bike world championships in Les Gets. won the short track, cross country and marathon titles. With this historic quadruple, she now has a total of ten victories at elite world championships to her name. This includes the title at the Road World Championships in Ponferrada 2014, which is also her greatest success in this field. She contested her last major road race in 2021 at the French championships and was still under contract with Canyon/SRAM Racing until 2020.
The press release does not mention that Ferrand-Prevot is to be used in road races. Ineos Grenadiers does not currently have its own women's cycling team for the road.

There is a question mark over the equipment after Ferrand-Prevot's change. Pinarello, the supplier of Ineos Grenadiers, does not manufacture mountain bikes. Ferrand-Prevot is currently on a BMC Fourstroke on the road, just like Pidcock, but there is no brand name on his machine.
