Those who are on the road for the German national cycling team have new uniforms. The BDR has unveiled a new jersey. White remains the basic colour, with silver being added. Both colours alternate in an asymmetrical stripe pattern. The logos of the BDR and jersey manufacturer Bioracer as well as the national colours black, red and gold are printed on the chest.
The German colours can also be seen on the sleeves of the BDR jersey. Bike manufacturer KTM can be found on the side of the jersey and on the shoulders, where Skoda is another sponsor.
The "Germany" lettering immediately catches the eye when you look at the back of the jersey, with the colours black, red and gold underneath. Designers from jersey manufacturer Bioracer submitted ten designs for the new outfit. After a vote in which BDR squad athletes, national coaches, BDR officials and the head office took part, the decision in favour of the new BDR jersey was made in favour of the white and silver design.
The new BDR jerseys are to be used with immediate effect.
