The German power meter supplier is making it easier to get started in power measurement with an inexpensive version of the crank-based NG system. The NG eco offers the proven technology of the previous Power2Max power meters with measurement in the crank star. However, the basic version only displays two values on the computer: the power in watts and the cadence.
Additional values such as the left-right distribution of power or the torque can be added via an app, which will also be available soon. In addition, the NG eco is powered by a battery instead of a rechargeable battery. The almost halved price is tempting: the NG eco is already available for 490 euros (spider without crank and computer) instead of the 990 euros for the top version.
