The highlight of the impressive equipment for the price are folding tyre-compatible carbon wheels from Reynolds, with which the bike is even faster in the wind tunnel than with the 808 wheels from Zipp fitted for comparison purposes. However, a particularly favourable interaction between the frame and wheels can be assumed; in most cases, the 808s are somewhat more streamlined. In the practical test, the low steering head stiffness and the short wheelbase are noticeable (the wheelbase is slightly longer at higher frame heights). The bike feels a little top-heavy, and a queasy feeling can arise in fast bends. The deceleration of the elegantly integrated brakes suffers somewhat from the sharp-edged levers.
ConclusionTop equipment, super wheels. Only suitable for light riders due to very low stability
