Every year at the Tour de France, we give away a great racing bike in our competition. The task: correctly guess the first three riders in the overall classification. In 2024, TOUR reader Carola Gospodarek guessed the podium correctly and was lucky enough to be drawn from 1,200 participants. Her main prize: a Benotti Fuoco Disc Carbon.

"You've made us really happy," says Carola Gospodarek in her letter of thanks to the TOUR editorial team and the sponsor Benotti. The reason: Carola Gospodarek took part in our competition in July in our Tour de France special on the occasion of the Tour of France, and: she won! Out of a total of 1,200 entries, Gospodarek correctly guessed the final podium of the Tour de France 2024 with the overall winner Tadej Pogacar. The main prize was the Fuoco Disc Carbon carbon racer from German manufacturer Benotti with SRAM equipment worth €3,699.

A gift for husband Mathias

As soon as Carola Gospodarek received the winning notification, she realised that the new racer would be the ideal gift for her husband Mathias, who has been a passionate racing cyclist since the days of Jan Ullrich. The woman from Mecklenburg secretly had the Benotti configured by Benotti according to her husband's size and he then received it as a gift for their wedding anniversary in September - including a bike fitting. For him, this was like "Christmas, Easter and New Year all rolled into one", gushed the overjoyed recipient, recalls Mrs Carola with delight.

Maximum riding fun and suitability for everyday use - this is how the German manufacturer Benotti describes its new Fuoco Disc Carbon. This bike is perfect for relaxed after-work laps and is also suitable for the next event highlight.

The geometry of the Fuoco Carbon Disc ensures agility and a smooth ride, while the high-quality carbon frame combines high stiffness values with comfort at the seat post. Shift cables and brake lines run completely inside the frame, giving the sporty road bike a tidy appearance.

Easy adjustment of handlebars and stem

The fully integrated carbon cockpit, consisting of a separate stem and handlebars, allows easy adjustment to the individual riding position. The slightly ovalised, ergonomic handlebars have a drop of 125 millimetres. The round carbon seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 millimetres offers noticeable flexibility. The 35C Evo Disc Carbon wheelset from Engage (tubeless ready) with 35 millimetre high rims makes the Fuoco agile and light-footed.

7.4 kilograms of driving pleasure

The 28 millimetre wide Conti Grand Prix tyres roll easily and offer comfortable suspension; tyres up to 35 millimetres wide are possible. The bike is equipped with the electronic SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset and weighs around 7.4 kilograms (at frame height 49 cm).
