Jonas Deichmann announces the video on his Instagram channel (222,000 followers) with a few sober words:
The film about my "Transamerica Twice" adventure is out and available on my YouTube channel 🎥🍿 More than 5,000 km on the gravelbike from New York to Los Angeles and then back on foot in 100 days. Four months of adventures and so many great memories. The link is in my stories. 🎥 @weinbergmarcus and @abavtsh

The film shows what Jonas Deichmann (36) completed over the summer. The start of his "Trans America Twice" project was 28 June 2023 in New York. From the metropolis on the east coast, he cycled 5500 kilometres to Los Angeles on the west coast.
An extended break of just one day and then Jonas Deichmann set off on the second part of the challenge. Back to New York, on foot, with a trailer. He arrived there on 4 November 2023. And as a bonus, he ran the New York Marathon there on 5 November - without a trailer.
The film Trans America Twice was made in collaboration with Markus Weinberg. Weinberg knows what such undertakings are all about, as he is not only a film producer but also a former cyclist. The two of them shot the film "Jonas Deichmann - Das Limit bin nur ich" back in 2022. So, let yourself be inspired, informed, but by no means frustrated because you would never have achieved such a feat. Just this much: Jonas Deichmann practised a lot beforehand...! A few days ago (on 13.1.24) there was a post on Insta by:
My training week in numbers:
- 21 training sessions and 37 hours
- 5 core strengthening sessions on the beach 💪
- 12.5 km swimming in the sea 🏊♂️
- 410 km gravel cycling 🚴
- 100 km trail running 🏃♂️
And for fans, followers and interested parties, Jonas Deichmann has of course already thought about a new challenge. He wants to break the world record for the most Ironman distances in a row. This currently stands at 105 Ironman distances in 105 days. Jonas wants to take 120 days to complete 120 Ironmans. In figures, that means 120 times 3.8 kilometres of swimming, 180 kilometres of cycling and 42.195 kilometres of running.
