We all know EOFT, Ocean Film Tour or BANFF, we've at least heard the name before. In 2025, something new will be added: the Bike Film Tour will celebrate its premiere in March. 120 minutes of bike cinema is sure to inspire, inform and impress.

Who knows it? The bicycle heart beats faster when a bicycle film is shown at the EOFT (European Outdoor Film Tour). More of it! That's exactly what the people behind EOFT and Co. thought and came up with something new. In 2025, 120 minutes of film will be shown on the first big Bike Film Tour.

Bike Film Tour 2025: Programme

Two wheels are what connects us all. The Bike Film Tour aims to show this with its selection of films.

So far, four films have made it into the 2025 programme.

Even the photo shows: The film promises freeride action. Lucy von Eesteren, Vinny Armstrong, Harriet Burbidge-Smith and Patricia Druwen test the downhill quality of the five freeride trails in the Bike Kingdom Park Lenzerheide. We are already very excited about the film. And you?

This is my moment

The film is not actually about a moment, it is about the story of an exceptional talent. Biniam Girmay is the first black racing cyclist to win the green jersey at the Tour de France - a sensation in the white-dominated world of professional cycling. The insights into the life of the professional cyclist between training, racing and family are certainly not only exciting for die-hard racing bike fans.

Building the Buffalo

Many people will have heard of World Bicycle Relief. And of the Buffalo Bicycle. Building the Buffalo tells the story of this extremely robust bicycle, which is designed to make everyday life easier for people in developing countries. Test riders from Kenya and the team of engineers from the USA have their say. Together they are working on adapting the Buffalo Bike better to local conditions.

How to make a sick edit

And so that there are even more epic, creative bike films worth seeing, How to make a sick edit is part of the Bike Film Tour programme. The film clarifies the question "How do you actually make a good MTB film?" and offers a guide for aspiring filmmakers. Who knows, maybe you'll try it out yourself after watching this film?

The Bike Film Tour has 17 stops in Germany in 2025

In its debut year, the Bike Film Tour will make 17 stops in Germany, plus one visit to Austria and one to Switzerland. There will also be a cinema evening full of bike films in Belgium and the Netherlands.

What she rides, uses and recommends has to stand the test of time: not in marketing, but in real life.
