After the tough cobbled classic Paris-Roubaix, Australian Cameron Wurf had his very own way of relaxing.

The 39-year-old professional cyclist ran another half marathon on Sunday evening - in 1:26:55 hours. On the Strava platform, the team's pro Ineos Grenadierswho finished 128th in the "Hell of the North" after almost six hours of riding. "It was so bumpy, it hurt to pee," wrote Wurf after Paris-Roubaix.

He noted his evening run, which he set off on shortly after half past seven south of Ghent, with the comment "Sunday brick". Among triathletes, a brick is a session in which two or all three disciplines are trained in quick succession. Wurf has been a professional since 2007, but has never won a race. However, the respect of the peloton is likely to be immense after his programme on Easter Sunday. Before 2007, Wurf took part in the Olympic Games in Athens as a rower.

He has also been active as a triathlete since 2015, but took a break from cycling until 2020. In 2021, Wurf won the Ironman Copenhagen with a course record of 7:46:06 hours. With this time, Wurf is ranked 25th in the world for the Ironman distance.
