With comparable equipment, the Rose is a little sportier in several respects: Firstly, the riding position is slightly more stretched than on the Endurace, and secondly, the suspension comfort is good, but not outstanding. The fact that the bike still rides like a carpet is more down to the wide DT Swiss rims and the supple Continental tyres (real tyre width: 27 millimetres). The ergonomic Ritchey handlebars and the 34-32 mountain gear ratio in the lowest gear are a good choice for relaxed and long tours. Further selling points are the many options of the modular system; the disadvantage remains the lack of direct support from a local dealer.
CONCLUSION Opulently equipped, light and manoeuvrable bike with a sporty orientation. Great components
