Within the test field, the Revelator 3500, together with Ghost, marks the sporty pole - at least as far as the riding position is concerned.

The geometry is exactly at the limit at which one can speak of a comfort geometry. At least the 32 sprocket in combination with the compact 50/34 gear ratio offers sufficient gear reserves for very steep climbs. However, you will search in vain for other features that could increase riding comfort. With the tyres and the stiff aluminium seat post, the Austrian manufacturer is giving away additional comfort potential: the narrow Grand Prix tyres from Continental roll easily and are durable, but offer little suspension comfort. You shouldn't expect miracles from the stiff aluminium seat post in this respect either. Otherwise, the KTM is a functionally convincing bike with an impeccable, complete 105 groupset from Shimano.

CONCLUSION Sporty riding position; few comfort features apart from the gear ratio. Well-equipped all-rounder
