The carbon version is now only available with disc brakes. The carbon seatpost, which is flattened at the rear, also provides more suspension than any other bike we know of thanks to the combination with the rear stays positioned low on the seat tube. Smooth running thanks to the long wheelbase and good stiffness values are among the bike's strengths, as are the carefully selected components. The large-volume handlebars, wrapped in well-damped tape, are comfortable to grip; the saddle also impressed the testers. Less pleasing were the rather slow-rolling tyres and the otherwise much-praised mechanical two-piston brakes from TRP. The reasons for this are, on the one hand, simple brake discs and, on the other, sluggish cables.
CONCLUSION Disc racer suitable for touring with a lot of comfort. Well thought-out add-on parts, minor weaknesses in the build
