One reason: the spectacular equipment for 2,000 euros with complete Ultegra and expensive Mavic wheels, which would have put it on a par with the mail-order bikes. For 300 euros less, the LC Tour 3 offers the same frame and even an Ultegra drivetrain. However, savings were made on other parts, which is reflected in an extra 680 grams of weight and, at least with the FSA brakes, also in their function: they have noticeably less bite than a Shimano brake system. To make matters worse, the rear brake cable rubs against the stops in the top tube. There is nothing to criticise about the well-shaped handlebars and the solid wheels. Nevertheless, the question arises as to whether a complete 105 groupset would not be a better offer. It remains confusing that the Tour and Race models have identical geometries.
CONCLUSION More of a sporty all-rounder than a typical comfort bike. Body with good gears, but weak brakes
