If the not too upright position suits you and the simple look is appealing, you still get a decent bike for your money. The riding impression is inconspicuous in the best sense of the word, although the comfort at the rear is somewhat lacking compared to the competitors in this test field; the aluminium seat post without offset offers only little suspension travel. However, the very flexible saddle cover, the most compliant fork in the test field and the thickly padded handlebar tape prevent the bike from feeling overly hard. On the other hand, the chassis is extremely stiff and solid, and the equipment is faultless - apart from the front wheel rim, which rubs slightly when braking. The inexpensive frame makes it possible to fit a complete Ultegra groupset with a wide gear range thanks to the 32-speed mountain cassette. The rather wide handlebars are a matter of taste.
CONCLUSION Very stiff aluminium frame, well equipped. Still sporty geometry, moderate suspension comfort. Many frame sizes
