The Swiss bike manufacturer BMC has presented its new Roadmachine. The key features are a new geometry concept, greater tyre clearance, which even allows cross and gravel tyres, and a much wider range of equipment. BMC offers a total of seven model variants - from the Roadmachine 01 ONE with Sram redEtap and Enve high-profile wheels up to the entry-level model Roadmachine 02 THREE, which is equipped with a Shimano 105 groupset.
Formally part of the Swiss company's Endurance range, the new Roadmachine nevertheless places great emphasis on technical development. According to BMC, this is reflected in a stiffer fork, increased bottom bracket stiffness and greater torsional rigidity of the headset. The integrated cockpit is visually striking, giving the handlebars a tidy look without external cables. In addition, the ICS (Integrated Cockpit System) technology allows the handlebar position to be fully adjusted using a special spacer system - without having to remove the stem or disconnect any cables.
The all-round character of the marathon bike is rounded off by a removable mini mudguard on the saddle and standard mounts for bags and accessories on the top tube.
